2019 Korean FDI Posts US $61.85 Billion
The 2019 Korean FDI amounted to US $61.85 billion, rising 21.0 percent compared with US $51.10 billion of the previous year. Korean FDI net outflows were US $49.33 billion, up 18.4 percent from US $41.65 billion a year ago.

By region, Korean FDI went to Asia (32.3%), North America (25.8%), Europe (21.9%), Latin America (16.6%), Oceania (1.6%), Middle East (1.0%) and Africa (0.9%).
Korean FDI for Q4, 2019
Korean foreign direct investment (FDI) for the fourth quarter of 2019 posted US $15.95 billion, rising 16.1 percent from US $13.73 billion a year ago and 12.6 percent from US $14.17 billion of the previous quarter. Korean FDI net outflows were US $10.88 billion, up 4.6 percent from US $10.40 a year ago and down 0.6 percent from the previous quarter’s US $10.95 billion.
