Registration for the 2020 ADB Annual Meeting
Opens on January 17
Registration for the 53rd Asian Development Bank Annual Meeting of the Board of Governors opens on January 17 on www.adb.org and www.adb2020.org. The annual meeting, which will be held under the theme of “Asia 2020: Innovation, Inclusiveness and Integration (3Is)”, is scheduled to be held in Songdo Convensia, Incheon, Korea on May 2-5, 2020. Over 5,000 participants from 68 ADB member countries including financial ministers, central bank governors and international organization officials are expected to join and discuss economic and social development issues in Asia and the Pacific.
The 2020 ADB Annual Meeting will consist of ADB official events such as ADB Governor’s Meeting and ADB Governor’s Seminar, and host country events including seminars where participants will discuss smart manufacturing, digital technologies and convergence in the energy sector under the theme of “innovation” in the 4th industrial revolution era and “regional cooperation”. During the meeting, Korea-China-Japan finance ministers’ meeting and ASEAN+3 Finance Ministers’ Meeting will also take place.
